I just returned from an incredible trip to Washington, DC with the PSP team!  Even as I write this post tonight, I'm still in awe of the experiences God gave us and the people he brought into our path during our time there.  He did above and beyond what we could ask or think!

A particular highlight for me the entire week was the rich fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ as we labor side-by-side for the sake of the Gospel.  Our team is unique with each person contributing talents and strengths that compliment one another.  We shared many conversations and laughs together - great times had by all!

Our primary purpose in going to DC was to participate in the National Day of Prayer festivities.  I don't have photos that document all the events we attended, but sincere prayers from the lips of believers all over the nation on behalf of our country were lifted up before the Lord.  It was a moving time.

It was also a great honor for us to attend the Bible study in the Vice President's office.  A beautiful setting as the truths of the Scriptures are taught.  We are grateful for the faithful ministry of Bobby Little and his wife on Capitol Hill and greatly enjoyed their sweet fellowship.

Later that same day, we returned to the White House complex for a tour of the West Wing.  My jaw literally dropped with amazement as we stepped out into the Rose Garden and then later peered into the doorway of the Oval Office.  A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!  Unfortunately only outdoor pictures were allowed (except in the Press Room).

We were also privileged to spend time at the Museum of the Bible and were even given a personal tour of two of the six floors by the assistant to the President of the Museum!  

To top the week off, we were honored to share dinner with Dr. Os Guinness and his lovely wife, Jenny.  An amazing couple with amazing stories of God's faithfulness.  It was a delightful and inspiring time with them.

Needless to say, our hearts were full when we pulled away from the city early Saturday morning to begin the trek back home.  The first several hours were spent debriefing together and pondering the future of the ministry - what it might look like and where God might be leading.  Please pray for us as we wait on the Lord to direct our steps.  The ministry is his, and we as his servants await his bidding.
