2017 Governor's Prayer Breakfast

This morning, I had the honor of being one of the photographers at the 2017 Governor's Prayer Breakfast.  It was my first time shooting a big event, and I was a little nervous.  But thankfully I had some great partners, and most of the pictures I took turned out fairly well.

This was the centerpiece at the head table.  The wooden Indiana accent piece was made by someone from our church.

I designed the programs and sponsor insert for the event.

Spring

I love to see the beauty of God's handiwork in the changing of the seasons.  Spring is officially here in the Midwest, and today I grabbed my camera to capture the pink and white splendor budding just right outside my office window.

12 Years...

It was 12 years ago this month that God gave me my "dream job" as I came staff at my church. It is hard to believe it has been that long. But what is more amazing is how God has used this position to utilize and refine my interests and strengths. I had no idea that I would go from a as-needed "fill-in" to office manager. I am blessed to work alongside some incredible spiritual leaders and serve a wonderful church family as we labor for the sake of the gospel. I thank the Lord for what he has given me and pray that he will continue to use me as his servant for his praise and glory.
