A Birthday Party

Little Grace is turning four on Wednesday this week, so yesterday called for a family birthday party.  It was actually the first time to be altogether since Kathy's arrival home on May 16, and we were so excited.  Some little ones were delighted to see their Aunt Kathy again!

Since Grace says that "owls are her favorite creatures", we decorated with owl birthday plates.

For some reason, Grace wouldn't blow out the candles, so she had to have some encouragement and help.

After dinner, we enjoyed a little recital since we were unable to attend the kid's music recital the week before.  It was fun to have Rachael join Essie on the violin and Kathy accompany on the piano.

Hannah is a beginner student but doing a great job.

Benjamin and Sarah played a duet.  They are adorable together.

It was a wonderful evening to share together!
